Karen Ann Victoria O’Brien was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. She moved to San Francisco in the mid-eighties and returned to Boston in 2007. After a long hiatus from painting, she resurrected her painting skills and now enjoys creating using sculpture, painting, and photography.

Karen was a contributor to The Art Connection, a non-profit organization that connects artists and art donors to community service organizations in the Greater Boston area through the placement of original artwork for all to enjoy. She has exhibited extensively and her work is in numerous private and public collections.
