Dedham location along the Charles, Dedham, MA 

Please join professional artists Sam Green and Bill Lane for this full-day Dedham Art Association (DAA) Plein Air workshop. As a first-time treat, both guest artists will demonstrate the same scene in their primary mediums – Sam in oils and Bill in watercolors. Includes: simultaneous demonstrations, one-on-one guidance, and end-of-day constructive critique. Bring your oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, or other medium(s), art materials, and a bag lunch. 

Sam Green is a landscape and abstract painter based in Providence, Rhode Island. Graduating cum laude with a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, he has been consistently exhibiting and is represented by Jessica Hagen Fine Art + Design in Newport, RI. 

Bill Lane is a returning popular artist having presented a demonstration, led our Critique Night, taught a watercolor workshop, and served as a juror for DAA. He graduated from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth) with a BFA in Visual Design and is currently represented through Gallery Antonia in Chatham, MA. He paints plein air avidly all year.
