Critique Night with Jo Ellen Reinhardt
The professional artist is Jo Ellen Reinhardt, artist, teacher and founder of the New England School of Fine Art. Members are invited to bring an artwork in progress or a finished piece. Optionally, a second artwork be critiqued at the end of the meeting if there’s time. Guests are asked for a $5 donation to attend and/or participate.
Jo Ellen Reinhardt is a classically trained artist with a unique gift of capturing the beauty in a portrait, still life, or landscape painting. Her work has received many awards and has been shown throughout the Northeast. Jo Ellen's artistic career began with watercolors, but in recent years she has gravitated to oils. She is a member of several prestigious art associations, including the Copley Society of Art. In 2015, Jo Ellen co-founded the New England School of Fine Art, where she is the director and principal instructor. The school is dedicated to teaching and preserving traditional methods of realistic drawing and painting. Additionally, she enjoys teaching abroad in Italy and at the local university
